An acid-free primer is a nail prep product used before applying gel, acrylic, or other enhancements. It improves adhesion between the natural nail and the product—without using harsh acids.

What it does

Why “acid-free” matters

Traditional primers contain strong acids (like methacrylic acid) that aggressively etch the nail.

Acid-free primers:

• Are less damaging to natural nails
  
• Are safer for sensitive clients
  
• Cause less burning or irritation
  
• Reduce over-dehydration

Carry out nail prep. Carefully apply a

thin layer of Acid-Free Primer to each nail plate. Allow

to dry for 10-20 seconds, ensuring the product

evaporates completely. Avoid all contact with the skin.

There is no need to cure (no need for UV/LED lamp

exposure). This process prepares the nail plate for

better adhesion of gel, acrylic, or other nail products.
